I decided to create new book cover designs for these classic novels: Dracula, Frankenstein, and The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde. Because of the dark narrative contained in these stories, the art direction has to capture gloomy and uncanny elements. Since the monsters are the main highlight of this project, I put great attention to the facial expression so that when the audience views the book cover at a glance, it may summarize the mood they can expect for the entirety of the story.
