I provided my graphic design services to the owner of Doomsday Coffee & Roasterie to refresh their coffee bag designs. After inquiring about my client's vision, the goal is to create a coffee bag design that blends with a minimalistic, modern, and bold design aesthetic to reflect the local business's inclusive values and veteran background.
Design Process
The coffee bag design calls for two major revisions: the label and the business logo. Not only does the label needs to be reformatted in a professional format, but also the ability to be utilized in a template format so that my client has the flexibility to make edits to the content. My client also seeks to have an alternative logo design in a circular format for the back of the coffee bag; similar to the emblem logo style as an inspiration from other coffee shops.
Coffee Bag Label
To narrow down the design direction for the coffee bag label, I created various design styles and fonts to present to my client where I can gather feedback. My client ultimately chose Style 1 B to proceed with the final coffee bag label design.
Circular Logo Design
Similarly, I created four circular logo design options for my client. The goal is to capture the business owner's military background and encapsulate it as a unique emblem design. The logo design to move forward is Option 3.
